I’m not usually the biggest fan of Ellie Goulding, but she certainly has a way with some covers that really makes them work as stripped down acoustic numbers. Then again, it’s kind of hard to fuck up a song so wonderfully constructed as the Knife’s “Heartbeats”. Not to take anything away from her, she’s certainly talented as well. Just saying that the original is pretty incredible.
